Enclosures generates eight envelopes from a shared temporal behavior, each one allowed to stray from it in its own way. It sets a territory. What takes form inside it is open.
Enclosures is a multichannel envelope generator designed for animated, continuously variable modulation.
The module outputs 8 independent envelopes. Each envelope is generated from the same mode characteristic, then differentiated per channel through internal variation controls.
The mode system provides 39 envelope algorithms, each with a distinct geometric and temporal behavior. Envelopes can range from stable and minimal to dense, oscillatory, or strongly deformed trajectories.
Two playback modes are available: a rate-based playback driven by free frequency or tempo sync, and a manual scan mode for direct position control.
Core parameters — Start, End, Character, Curve, Quantize, Drift, and Spread —
shape envelope boundaries, structural intensity, interpolation behavior,
rhythmic snap, trajectory evolution, and cross-channel divergence.
Each state can be saved as a preset and recalled at any time.
